200 children greeted the Holy Father at the Apostolic Nunciature. The children were from the schools of the Archdiocese of Washington.

There was a group of about 25 children whose parents work in the Argentine embassy. They had Argentinian flags. They go to a special school for Argentinian children.

There was about 25 media, including two local stations and FOX News.

The Pope arrived pretty much on time, at 4:50 p.m., and got out of the car, a small Fiat automobile, smaller than the other cars.

Then he waved to the children and went inside, accompanied by the Archbishop, the Apostolic Nuncio.

The people greeting him were the Nunciature staff.

There was a crowd on the northwest side, spectators, onlookers, etc., people who wanted to be around when the pope arrived.
