Firstconvened in 1996, the Midwest Dialogue continues to meet separately from the USCCB since beginning the national Muslim Dialogue in 2015.
The Muslim participants are representatives from the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and local Islamic communities, while the Catholic participants include a bishop and representatives from local Catholic dioceses.
