- About USCCB
The Catholic Prison Ministries Coalition (CPMC) seeks to enhance Catholic ministry to those incarcerated, detained, or reentering society and those affected by incarceration, while also assisting the Church in the United States to work for a justice that is integrated, inclusive, and restorative.
Our aim is to serve by recruiting, training, supporting and empowering those called to missionary discipleship among the poor and marginalized.
Our mission is to create a more just and merciful criminal justice system so as to more closely align the ministry of the Church with the teachings and example of Pope Francis' call to prioritize those on the peripheries.
To do this requires we open up forums and opportunities for the sharing of resources and practices to strengthen the Church in its mission to advance a vision of justice that upholds the dignity of the human person.
If you would like to learn more about the CPMC, register for future webinars or workshops, or send us questions or comments, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
