"The Paschal mystery of Christ's cross and Resurrection stands at the center of the Good News that the apostles, and the Church following them, are to proclaim to the world." (CCC, 571)
At the heart of any religious vocation is the Cross of Christ. In my life, am I open to Christ's call to follow? Am I willing to die with him so I might rise with him? Do I see my life as a life of service? Am I willing to lay down my life in whatever way Christ asks it of me? The Paschal mystery asks all of these questions and is, therefore, a key to any vocational discernment.
