Dear Friends in Christ,
Heeding the gospel call to love others as we love God, The Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Collection funds six Catholic agencies that work for the respect and benefit of our brothers and sisters around the world. In providing humanitarian aid, resettling and welcoming displaced individuals and families, and advocating on behalf of victims of atrocities such as human trafficking, the organizations supported by the CRS Collection act from their belief that every individual is an equal heir of Christ's love and care.
Your support is needed to continue this important work around the world. In most parishes, the collection will take place the weekend of March 29-30, 2014. Please use the collection envelopes at your parish to make your contribution. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of National Collections at 202-541-3346 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your support of this Collection, which serves Jesus in disguise.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Most Reverend Dennis M. Schnurr
Archbishop of Cincinnati
Chairman, USCCB Committee on National Collections
