Your support to the Collection for the Church in Latin America supports projects in over 20 countries across Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean.

In Peru, many people find themselves isolated from faith communities because of great distances and deteriorated roads. Ministers often need to travel by foot or mule to reach these communities, which is a slow process. Because of this, ministers are able to visit some communities only twice per year. But with your generosity new leaders have been trained and are reaching out to more rural communities, inviting all into the family of faith.
In Nicaragua, members of the deaf community are often unable toparticipate in Mass or proper sacramental formation because resources are not available in sign language. With your support to the Collection for the Church in Latin America, the Archdiocese of Managua is increasing the number of workshops, Masses and educational materials in sign language. Your generosity has provided these resources to train over 200 ministers to serve the deaf community.
In El Salvador, your support to the Collection for the Church in Latin America is funding increased pastoral ministry for women who have suffered an abortion. This ministry ensures them of the mercy of God and provides the care they and their families need to heal their wounds.
