  • June 14th, 2014: The Diocese of Kalamazoo is presenting a $10 "Healthy Love" Session which will be a 2 hour introduction to NFP geared toward engaged couples. Registration forms can be found online.

  • June 23-30, 2014: Creighton Model FertilityCare Practioner Education Program Washington, DC area. This teacher education program is an eight-day total immersion course representing Phase I of the curriculum. Education Phase II will be offered on February 2-7, 2015. The training will be held at St. Jerome Academy, 5207 42nd Pl., Hyattsville, MD 20781 (this is just over the DC line and close to the Catholic University area of the District).   • July 9-12, 2014: American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals 33rd Annual Meeting. The location for this year's meeting is Stratford- upon- Avon, UK. This is jointly sponsored by AAFCP and Creighton University School of Medicine. See the official flyer.
  • July 16-19, 2014: NACFLM Conference 2014, "Home is a Holy Place." This year, the National Association for Catholic Family Life Ministers will host their 2014 Conference in Dayton, OH. See their website for more information.

    : Men Fully Alive. A conference for Catholic men in the "That Man Is You" series by the Diocese of Kansas City, MO. The conference is from 8-11AM and is free but RSVP to family@diocesekcsj.org to reserve a seat.

  • May 2, 2014: Fun Night Out! The Diocese of Sioux Falls hosts a relaxed evening of hors d'oeuvres and beverages for couples to learn more about Natural Family Planning with Q & A sessions. RSVP for free.

  • April 25, 2014: Caring About Healthy Women, Healthy Marriages & Healthy Families: The Diocese of Fresno presents a "Forum of Experts" to present a  conference on these three topics. It goes from 7-9pm and only cost $10  per person.

  • April 11-14, 2014: BOMA Spanish Teacher Training in the Diocese of Rockford at Bishop Lane Retreat Center. Training sessions begin Friday evening and conclude Monday afternoon. The cost of training is $575 for an individual plus $250 lodging and food for the weekend. The cost for a married couples is $675 plus $300 for lodging and food.   • March 23/30, 2014: Mother/ Daughter Programs. These educational events are provided by the NFP ministry team of the Diocese of Memphis. Mothers are given the opportunity to help their daughters discover God's gift of human sexuality and fertility and to reflect on how to be an authentic woman. The programs are presented by Natural Family Planning teachers who emphasize respect, understanding, and appreciation of God's gifts.

  • January 20-29, 2014: Voices in the Desert: The Story of the Pope Paul VI Institute is a documentary on EWTN that will be airing about the Paul VI Institute. There will also be special interviews aired with Dr. Thomas and Susan Hilgers, co-founders of the Institute. It is now available for purchase

  • November 7, 2013: Frustrations with Fertility: Becoming an Advocate for Your Reproductive Health." The Couple to Couple League of Northern Virginia hosts this forum which provides information on how women can obtain optimal health by charting their fertility. Included in the discussion is the topic of ethical options for treating female medical problems typically treated with hormonal birth control. Featured speaker is Lorna Cvetkovich, MD, FACOG, OB/GYN.

  • August 12-16, 2013: Teen STAR Teacher Training Workshop at the Daughters of St. Mary of Providence Ctr., 207 Chapel Drive, Syracuse, NY 13219.
    Teen STAR is a developmental curriculum which utilizes the experience of the body's fertility patterns to help adolescents discover their inherent value as made in God's image and derive chaste behavioral norms. The program teaches chaste responsible decision making and communication skills in the area of sexual behavior.

    Diocesan NFP Ministry—Best Practices: A Look at Requiring NFP Education as Part of Marriage Preparation

    This panel of diocesan NFP coordinators and a canon lawyer will discuss: how the requirement of NFP education was created and implemented in their dioceses; the effectiveness of the strategy; and the canonical regulations of marriage preparation.
