"ThePeter's Pence collection is a tangible way to be a witness of the tendernessand mercy of God," said Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi of Mobile, Alabama, chairmanof the USCCB Committee on National Collections. "We join our brothers andsisters in the United States and around the world to support Pope Francis as hecares for those most in need."

ThePeter's Pence collection is taken up worldwide to help Pope Francis provide reliefto victims of war, religious persecution, and natural disasters.
