"A disciple of Christ is one who, in the experience of human weakness, has had the humility to ask for his help, has been healed by him and has set out following closely after him, becoming a witness of the power of his merciful love that is stronger than sin and death.." — Pope Benedict XVI, Angelus, July 23, 2006
During the Lenten season, we encourage you to put aside your cares and worries and take a weekly “Audio Retreat” with host Elia Castillo. Every week, one of the Catholic bishops of the United States serves as retreat guide and homilist. You can listen to the retreats on your computer using any MP3 player or download them to your audio library or portable MP3 player. The retreats are available in both English and Spanish.
Make each week’s retreat your time to focus clearly on what God is
saying to you this Lent. The retreats, made possible by donations to the Catholic Communication Campaign, were produced by Franciscan Media.
