International Conference on Sport and Spirituality
The Holy See, in particular the Dicastery for Culture and Education, convened an International Conference on Sport and Spirituality at the Vatican from May 16 to 18, 2024. Most Rev. John Barres, Bishop of Rockville Centre in New York, attended the conference as the representative from the United States. Included here are materials from that gathering, which may be useful for those across the U.S. with a concern on the intersection of the Catholic Church and the world of sports.
