The research contained in this document began through the sponsorship of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops Research Office. The research was completed under the direction of Mary Beth Celio through the generosity of Archbishop Alexander J. Brunett and the Archdiocese of Seattle. Maps depicting geographical distribution of Native American Catholics were developed by Mr. James Alt III of Creighton University. Dr. John Usera created the regional reports.
