The New Evangelization: Disciples on Mission in the World

This USCCB handout following the papal encyclical, Lumen Fidei (The Light of Faith), released by Pope Francis on June 29, 2013, reflects on the light of faith during the Year of Faith and beyond. It reminds us that we must nourish our faith so it can illuminate our lives today. Evangelization always includes loving our neighbor and working to uphold his or her dignity. Faith must be lived through the witness of love and solidarity.
