10 | Proceedings and Conclusions of the V National Encuentro of Hispanic/Latino Ministry institutes of all types will find in these Proceedings and Conclusions an out- standing resource for the training they provide to present and future pastoral leaders of every sort. It is not by any means a complete guide, or even a pas- toral plan for Hispanic ministry. Still, it is and will remain for years to come the starting point for all who hope to pro- mote ministry with, by, and for Hispanic/ Latino Catholics, from their lived reality. SAVORING THE GOOD THAT THE LORD HAS DONE The Psalmist invites faithful believers of all time to “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” (Ps 34:9) In the pages of these Proceedings and Conclusions of the V National Encuentro of Hispanic/Latino Ministry, pastoral leaders and the faithful People of God alike are invited to savor deeply the great works our Lord has accomplished in and through all who are called to be “Missionary Disciples: Witnesses of God’s Love.” Nourished by this food for pasto- ral conversion and the constant renewal of our minds and hearts in the Eucharist, may we be ever strengthened for the task at hand—the salvation of sinners everywhere and the trans- formation of the world into a “Civilization of Love.” 2 Together, let’s keep making history!
