Many of the Diocesan Chairs were also members of the ERAVE teams and were responsible to coordinate the participation of delegates from their respective dioceses to the Regional and National Encuentros . Once official approval of the V Encuentro process was granted by the USCCB at its Fall 2016 General Assembly, the name of ENAHVE was changed to ENAVE since the Team was no longer providing accompaniment “toward” the V Encuentro, but rather “of” it (“Hacia” [toward] was changed to “al” [of] in the name in Spanish).
